Aluminum for Air Tank

The aluminum air tank refers to the equipment specially used to store gas, and at the same time plays the role of stabilizing the system pressure. According to the different pressures of the aluminum air tank, it can be divided into high-pressure aluminum air tank, low-pressure aluminum air tank, and atmospheric aluminum air tank. The aluminum air tank is generally composed of a tank body(aluminum sheet) and two head(round aluminum plate) parts.

There are four main steps required to make a finished product: body roll bender, end cover welding, longitudinal welding, circumferential welding and the last and most strict and most important step: Leak Test Facility, our aluminum air tank must pass this test before selling to customers. The aluminum air tank capacity is about 15 liters to 60 liters, and it’s commonly made of two alloys: 5052 and 5083.
